NISD sending 14 wrestlers to UIL State Championships

A total of 14 Northwest ISD student-athletes will represent the district at the UIL Wrestling State Championships. Wrestlers from all three comprehensive high schools have qualified for the state tournament, including two who won Regional Championships last weekend.

The state tournament, which is held at the Berry Center in Cypress, just outside of Houston, begins on Friday, February 14 and concludes on Saturday, February 15. More information on the state tournament, including brackets for each weight class, can be found on the UIL website.
