Hello! My name is Jaime LeRoy and I am so excited to be the librarian here at Northwest High School. I started my career as a high school English teacher, and have been a librarian for the last 15 years. I wanted to become a librarian because growing up, I hated reading. I hated it because no one ever took the time to help me find a book I could lose myself in. In high school, I had an English teacher who took the time and now I am an avid reader. I love YA books and have a somewhat unhealthy obsession with the Harry Potter series. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in English-education from the University of Texas in 2005 and a Master’s Degree in library science in 2009 from Texas Women's University. I enjoy spending time with friends and family and my favorite season is football season–HOOK EM and FLY EAGLES FLY!
