Technology Students Association (TSA)

Northwest Technology Student Association


Our mission is to prepare our members for the challenges of a dynamic world by promoting technological literacy, leadership, and problem solving skills.

Membership is available to all CTE students who are currently enrolled or who have previously taken the following CTE courses at Northwest High School:

  • STEM Engineering Design I
  • STEM Engineering Design II
  • AMAT courses
  • Principles of Architecture and Construction
  • Architectural Design
  • Engineering Design and Problem Solving
  • Web Technologies
  • Digital Interactive Media
  • Digital Graphics and Animation
  • Computer Science courses
  • Other CTE courses (such as Interior Design, Ag Mechanics, Marketing, etc.)

In TSA students learn more about technology, business, careers, and leadership. Activities include leadership conference competitions at the regional, state, and national levels. TSA members also serve their school and community through student leadership projects. In the TSA organization students have opportunities to develop and apply career skills that will benefit them throughout their life.
